Special Delivery

Five (5) more parcels have been saved from potential theft since our last update in early December (see link below).

Two packages were spotted during patrols either side of Christmas, while the last three months have all resulted in a find apiece.

One item was moved from street view but still noticeable to anyone returning home, while another was placed in a wheelie bin at the request of the recipient via doorbell cam. Residents were also not aware a delivery had even been attempted, until visited by the team, on 3 other occasions.

29 items have been secured by the team since 2021.

"Even though parcel theft isn't something that happens every day on the ward, we'll always do our best to keep it that way. If we're passing an address and see a package has been left, we'll do what we can to make sure no one other than those living there get their hands on it."
